Class Descriptions
The following are our current classes:
Zumba® Fitness fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow. The fun routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning calories.
Shakin’ Through the Decades is a nostalgic yet vigorous walk down memory lane. Our workout includes some Zumba songs but also features oldies but goodies – hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. (Current catchy tunes are also incorporated.)
Club Shakin’ is the perfect way to dance away the stresses of everyday life with non-stop “shakin-and-movin” to the latest hits. This class is a cardio-intense workout in a club-type atmosphere.
Zumbatomic® for Kids is a fusion of the Zumba® Fitness moves (Salsa, Cumbia, Hip-Hop and more) and high-octane workouts designed to let kids ages 6-12 max out on fun and fitness all at the same time. Safe, effective, and fun…kids can’t wait to get into the groove. This class is for kids.
Shakin’ It Easy is a lower impact Zumba® class for beginners, as well as those that want a lower impact class. This is a great class to introduce yourself to Zumba®
30/30 is 30 minutes of Zumba followed by 30 minutes of Body Sculpt with weights. This workout combination gives you both cardio and toning.
Butts, Guts & More targets core strength training. Be prepared to burn a lot of calories as you tone and rip your body while strengthening your core. The class includes high reps with low weights to tone up. We use a stability ball and 3, 5, and 8 lb. weights. (Please feel free to bring either 5 or 8 lb. weights, as there is a limited supply on hand.)
Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick) when it comes to body sculpting. It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all your target zones, including arms, abs, glutes, and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.
Kick-N-Burn is 30 minutes of high intensity cardio kickboxing followed by 30 minutes of weight conditioning.
Shake-N-Burn is 30 minutes of Club Shakin followed by 30 minutes of muscle weight conditioning.
